At the crossroads of tradition and technology, Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra has emerged as a cultural beacon for Assam. Spread across 99 acres in Guwahati, this expansive complex now hosts nightly light, sound, and water experiences that immerse audiences in the region’s rich legacy.

Through advanced illumination and storytelling, Innovatiview Tech has elevated the site into a national landmark of cultural tourism—blending artistry with atmosphere to create a multisensory journey through Northeast India’s heritage.

Commissioned by Guwahati Smart City in 2022 (ongoing), Innovatiview Tech’s transformation of Kalakshetra focused on enhancing visitor experience while preserving the site’s cultural integrity. Through façade illumination, projection mapping, and atmospheric lighting, the entire complex now functions as a dynamic storytelling canvas.

At the heart of the experience lies projection mapping, where architectural structures become the stage for animated histories of Assam. The open-air amphitheatre is reimagined with ambient lighting and AV installations, supporting community gatherings, performances, and ceremonies.

Complemented by fountains, laser integration, and mood lighting, the upgraded Kalakshetra invites visitors to engage with Assamese culture in a way that’s immersive, accessible, and unforgettable.
